The College of Optics and Optometry of Terrassa (EUOOT) is located on the Terrassa Campus of the Technical University of Catalonia.

The EUOOT offers two levels of studies: the Diploma in Optics and Optometry (both in the face-to-face, and in the blended format) and, in the framework of new qualifications of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), the Official Master's Degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences, since the 2007-2008 academic year. The blended format studies can be run with the financial support of the companies and institutions that form part of the EUOOT Board. Whereas the Diploma provides students with the skills necessary to enter the professional world, the new Official Master's Degree will train them in the various areas of optometry and enable them to work in multidisciplinary research teams in the fields of vision science and clinical optometry. There are currently about 500 students enrolled at the College. We have always worked closely with specialists and manufacturers in the optics sector, among whom our students are highly regarded.

At the University Vision Centre (CUV) students studying for the Diploma have the opportunity to gain work experience with external patients under the supervision of their tutors. The CUV provides services to various groups of patients with visual problems through its units (strabismus, low vision, contact lenses, and visual therapies, among others) where Master's students carry out their training in the areas of specialization planned in the syllabus, and learn the techniques of applied clinical research.
